We are a PvE Horde guild based on Kilrogg EU. Our aim is a "Hardcore" raiding mentality coupled with a relaxed raiding schedule (2 - 3 times a week).

And as the name would suggest, yes, we are elitist bastards.

The problem with making jokes about a boss before you kill it is that if you're not careful, or particularly comical you find you've used up most of the material when you come to do the news for the actual kill.

Thankfully the focus was not lacking from our raiders who managed to dispense with the duo swiftly last night after a few tweaks were made to the tactics. It resulted in what I think everyone will agree was wonderfully executed strategy and a very well deserved Realm 4th, Horde 2nd kill.

What's that? You wanted and expected some form of puerile humour? Ok ball soakers, double team, splash damage.

Poop.

After much hard work we're very pleased to announce that everyone's favourite Trial of the Grand Crusader encounter, the Faction Champions on heroic difficulty have now been overcome. A few unlucky disconnects and unfavourable NPC spawns (thanks for giving us four melee...) couldn't dampen our spirits and we chipped away making consistent progress to finally have it all come together in a superbly controlled kill on the last try remaining this reset.

Unsurprisingly one try wasn't enough to better the Twin Valkyr's but then who's going to complain about being double teamed by twins?

We don't generally post about our ten player raids in Pretentious as we're mainly focused on progression in twenty five player content. However that is not to say we don't have a very active player base that pursues the ten player content outside of our normal raiding hours. With this in mind we're taking a break from the usual progress update to celebrate that one of our ten player teams managed to secure a realm first A Tribute to Mad Skill (10 Player)!

In fact they managed to complete the instance with forty nine attempts remaining having slipped up on no-longer-quite-as-lol-as-before-lolraxxas...



After uploading the log from the raid to WMO, the group also discovered that their Anub'arak normal kill from earlier that night was all ranked as the fifth fastest kill on their database, so a double congratulations to all involved!

I'm a bit slow in getting this up but better late than never...
